My students have inspired me to create this blog to try and keep up with their experiences. I plan to blog along with them, although I may have to pedal faster just to keep up.
Ms. Weiss, you really picked out a good video here...This video really speaks out to me....What would the world be like without greedy wealth, or pollution? Without trucks pouring out their exhaust and into the {former} blue skies? Sometimes we say we are lucky to have all that we do....Cars...Planes...Gasoline...Cell Phones...Electricity....etc. But are we really? Is it worth having all of these goods if we are living in a sick lethal environment? One hundred years ago, we wouldn't have to worry about FISHING for food! Or hunting animals! Or seeing the flowers bloom! Now how can we be even sure an animal or a fish isn't dying of a horrid disease? A thirteen year-old girl is worried about breathing! Is this the world you wanted, adults? Is it really. Do you think all this technology helps if the skies will fall? Or if the nature dies?
